Taught by local, experienced actors, our theatre classes are a place where students feel comfortable to express themselves through acting, movement & song! In this once-a-week class, young actors will learn basic showmanship and will develop skills and confidence to engage an audience. Classes will include basic musicianship in a performing scenario and simple choreography, in a fun, light-hearted environment. Students will participate in the spring revue and will have the opportunity to audition for the summer show (title TBA).

Taught by local, experienced actors, our theatre classes are a place where students feel comfortable to express themselves through acting, movement & song! In this fun, two-class combo, students in grades 3-5 will become a triple-threat! In addition to preparing for actual performances, students learn in Theatre I to communicate a plot-line & emotions with their full body, work well with others in an acting scene, project their voice, and how to work through stage fright. The Musical Theatre add-on class allows students to prepare the music and dance/choreography that goes with the scenes learned in Theatre I. Students will participate in the spring revue and will have the opportunity to audition for the summer show (title TBA).

Choristers learn the basics of breath control, pitch matching and expression while making music with friends! As a part of the Macon County Youth Choirs program, choristers perform a fall & spring concert and travel to perform occasionally at other regional venues throughout the season. | |
